As we say here at Albatross Designs, we like to stay true to our roots born on the ocean. While safety razors have been our primary focus the last few years, we are at our core a green design company, and we are constantly amazed by the creativity and ingenuity that goes into designing plastic free solutions to keep our oceans and planet safe.
While we feel that spirits have been improving throughout 2021, we want to make 2022 the best and most sustainable year ever. And to help us with this pursuit, we’d like to invite YOU to send us your artistic, creative vision of what life is like plastic free and under the sea!
While sustainable technologies have a huge role in the global transition towards sustainability, we believe that art, too, holds immense power in helping to win over and inspire the hearts and minds of the world's people. Art can serve as a great reminder of how beautiful life can be, and how magical our planet really is.
Do you dream of sea turtles and humans working together to remove ocean plastics? Or, do you picture a clown fish using an Albatross safety razor to shave its face? Or perhaps you imagine a mighty blue whale reigning over his now plastic free kingdom? Whatever it is, we want to see it!
Official Contest Prompt:
Create a visual graphic inspired by the idea of Plastic Free Oceans, a Healthy Planet, and a Brilliant Future for People and the Natural World.
A small bit of extra credit will be awarded if you can incorporate any Albatross Designs products or themes.
Rules and Prizes:
All illustration styles and types of graphic are encouraged, and we will be accepting entries until Friday, January 7, 2022. All ages welcome to enter. Three winners will be selected, with the first place submission receiving a $300 cash prize, and the two runner ups each receiving a $100 cash prize!
To Enter: Send us an email at hello@albatrossdesigns.it with your graphic attached. You can enter as many graphics as you'd like as many times as you'd like.
We will also be featuring select entries on our Instagram, in e-mails and on other social channels. By entering the art contest, you consent that your work may be used by Albatross Designs for any and all future purposes. We reserve the right to determine the winners at our sole discretion. Winners may be interviewed to further discuss their artwork.
