Every wave has a beginning. So did our toy line.
Our story started with salt in our hair, sailboat underfoot, and a growing frustration with the plastic washing in the tidelines around us—and into our lives. As ocean lovers with a big family of young kids, we were confronted by how few toy options reflected our values: a love of the sea, a respect for nature, and a desire to raise kids in a way that connects them to both.
We didn’t want to fill our home with more plastic. We didn’t want toys that beeped and broke after a few months. We wanted toys that would last, that would inspire, and that would reflect the magic we saw in tidepools and morning surf.
So we built a different kind of toy company: one that reflects our love for the ocean and respects the planet.
Our first toys were sketches on the back of a tide chart—sea creatures we knew and loved, drawn with the same curiosity that lives in every child. We brought them to life using sustainably sourced wood and non-toxic paints, creating open-ended toys that spark imagination and carry values deeper than any plastic figurine ever could.
Designing these toys wasn’t just a business decision—it was an extension of our life. We raised our kids by the water. We spent afternoons watching dolphins surface near the harbor, or helping our children count the legs on a crab. That’s the spirit we tried to capture in every handcrafted wooden piece.
From design to delivery, every step is considered. Just like the sea, we aim for timelessness. Our toys aren’t seasonal trends—they’re part of a movement. A return to quality. A reconnection with nature.
Each animal in our Ocean Animal Wooden Toy Set is a small tribute to the creatures that call our coastlines home. We want every child who plays with them to feel that sense of awe, of adventure, and of belonging to something bigger.
Our toys are also meant to be passed down—made with durability and classic forms that never go out of style. They become part of family rituals, of learning moments, of quiet creative afternoons.
This is where it all started: with our kids, the ocean, and the belief that toys can tell a better story.
