Albatross Happy Project - Be Happy, Be Strong.
Tip of the Week:
Try a Digital Detox.
Unplugging for a few hours each day (less screen time) means more real life connections, sharper focus, improved mental clarity and function
Social media is engineered to be mentally stimulating, addictive, and time consuming. It aims to trade your usage time for money by selling you products via ads it shows you. The thing is, this constant stimulation is actually harmful to the brain’s functioning. The costs of over doing it on social media span everything from brain fog to FOMO to loss of motivation to sleep interference (which itself leads to other issues) and beyond.
Try giving it a rest. It might not be easy. But it will be worth it.
It was never natural or normal to stare at a screen all day. They don't promise to make us happier, they promise to keep us engaged. What if we find time to engage with other things, better things, and the real world around us? We all got to check ourselves before we wreck ourselves when it comes to the social media!
